THE HISTORY
Pioneer Assurance Company Ltd formerly Pioneer General Assurance Society Ltd was established in 1930 as the first company in Kenya to insure Africans.  It is a fully indigenous Life Insurance Company offering customized investment solutions as well as life and health insurance products.  With over 76 years experience, Pioneer Assurance is a solid investment partner.
On 1st January 2002, Pioneer Assurance Company Limited acquired the closed life funds of Occidental Insurance Company Limited and Fidelity Shield Insurance Company Limited. The company has a strong branch network with thirteen offices represented in various towns across the country.

Pioneer Assurance Company Limited has a strong management team that brings together a wealth of experience in areas of Investment, Finance, Life Insurance, Information Technology, Business Development, Health Management and Client Services.  Pioneer Assurance observes an open door policy and departmental teams work in close liaison with the management team to achieve company goals and objectives.
